Michael was born on 'The Rock' ; That's Newfoundland to the visitors. He lived most of his adult life in Toronto. His vocal styling is a fusion of trained voice with a Rocky edge. Early influences include The Beetles, The BeeGees, Billy Joel, Motown, The Eagles, and later with Journey, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. Really too many to acknowledge. Vocal training with Paul Mason and guitar training with Ivan at Scarborough Music helped prepare for a life in the music world as he honed his skills in the city of Bright Lights and Big dreams. Playing with many musicians he became a professional performer and songwriter. Michael's current EP 'Songs In The Closet' is an inspirational collection of soothing and uplifting melodies of human experience and triumph.
